Two problems related to steering have been reported for the 2006 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
All switches for radio, horn only work when steering wheel is in approximately 180 degree position. In normal driving position, no horn or other steering mounted controls function.
While driving, wheels started shaking. When I took the vehicle to Infiniti they said the compression rods went bad and that this was a common problem in G35s. Service guy even told me that the part is defective and if it breaks while driving your tire/wheel can fly off. If it is defective then why hasn't Infiniti issued a recall?.
