Two problems related to clutch have been reported for the 2007 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan manual transmission's clutch has been known to stick to the floor, thus stranding it's driver. This is a problem with either the master or slave clutch cylinder. This is random and does not matter how the car is being driven. I feel this is a safety issue which should be addressed by Infiniti. I personally know several people who work for Infiniti, and they have recognized this as a common problem. I feel a technical service bulletin is necessary to address this issue.
Usually after the car has not been driven for a few days, I will get in and press the clutch and it will sink to the ground (I. E. There is no pressure in the clutch line). After pumping it a few times, it will usually rebuild pressure and be drivable. I have requested that my dealership fix the problem, but they claim to be unable to diagnose it, regardless of my explanation. They have bled the clutch line at one point, temporarily fixing the problem, but it is not a sustained solution.
