One problem related to car accelerates on its own has been reported for the 2009 Infiniti G37. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While stopping vehicle, braking became non-responsive and engine began racing. Vehicle was extremely difficult to stop completely. After taking foot off of brake pedal, vehicle lunged forward as if accelerator pedal was fully depressed. This has occured on 12/9/12 , 12/10/12, 12/15/12. Infiniti has not corrected problem. This rapid acceleration / non-responsive braking has caused two (2) near miss accidents.
