Four problems related to wiper have been reported for the 2010 Infiniti G37. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Top of dash becomes extremely shiny and sticky after 1 hour of sunlight through the windshield casing unwanted glare in windscreen. Temporarily can be cleaned with soap and water and returns to dull non sticky appearance, but only temporary. Next time car is in the sun for about an hour of driving or parking, the the shininess and stickiness returns causing massive reflections in the windshield. Makes no difference if car is stationary or in motion. No product has been used on the dashboard other than soap and water as needed. Suspect the uv protection or plastics are failing. Car only has 35k miles and is garage kept. There was a similar problem and later class action suite for older nissans and Infiniti, but the problem doesn't looked to be solved in newer cars.
The dashboard is melting and causes reflections at certain angles causing distortion in the vision. A part of the wind shield just shows the reflection of the dashboard hampering road vision.
The vapors from the cracked dashboard have created a safety issue. The inside of the windshield continuously fogs up creating a visibility problem due to these emitting vapors. Have no clue if they may be toxic, however, the emitting vapors are a visual safety hazard. The vapors are continuously emitting whether the vehicle is stationary or moving. The cracked dashboard is the problem.
In 2013 I began noticed the dash becoming tacky and difficult to clean. By 2015, the dash began to pool and reflect sunlight while day driving. Shortly after the pooling started, the dash began cracking and became soft, with damage occurring when touched.
