One problem related to brake drum has been reported for the 1998 Infiniti I30. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The brake cable assembly is made with an inferior bracket that causes the cable to rub against the suspension wearing through the cable. Eventually it would cause the cable to be cut through. Photos are available.
