While driving my wife's 1999 infinit I30, I experienced an unexpected sudden acceleration when slowing to enter a parking space. I immediately stood on the brakes and put the car into neutral with the engine racing. If I had not reacted quickly, I would have crashed into the parked car ahead of me. I stopped within a few inches of that car. This has not occured before, accrding to my wife who was the primary driver of the Infiniti. The car has 92,000 miles on it.
