Vehicle: 2000 Infiniti I30t has a reoccurring engine code p0420 since 74,000 miles. Found out recently there is a service bulletin for this problem on the internet. Reference #itb00-054a. I never received any notice from Infiniti corp. About this problem since the service bulletin that occurred on June 7, 2004. It is wrong for Infiniti not to notify their customers about this problem. There is no drivability problem, but I will not pass California smog test if the engine come on during this time. Infiniti corporation should fix this problem without charging any labor or parts. Parts are @ least $800. 00 without labor!!!.
