Drive to gas station a mile away was a dangerous experience, the issue I thought was a tire blown out has been inspected by local police officer upon occurrence and determined it is suspension defect. Right rear axle is where the loud grinding started.
Consumer had to have 2000 Infiniti I30 rotors resurfaced. On several occasions, the rotors were resurfaced. All four rotors were replaced at 39,868. At 62k miles the vehicle began to vibrate at 55 mph. Other problems: the transmission stayed in the low gear too long, there was squeaking on the right side of the vehicle when on rough roads, vibration in the steering due to the rotors being out of round, the front window squeaks and the rear view mirror was loose.
Car backfired when going around a curb and caused me to go off the road into a ditch.
Vehicle experienced rough and bumpy ride after the first 1000 miles. Problem with transmission not changing gears porperly, and would jerk when shifting. Also, extended stopping distance, and brake pedal would go too far to the floor before vehicle would come to a complete stop. Vehicle has been in/out of dealer shop on 11 occasions, and problem still reoccurring.
