The contact owns a 2002 Infiniti I35. The contact stated while driving 5 mph, she could not move her seat forward enough to reach her brake pedal which caused her to crash into another vehicle in front of her. The crash was a minor incident. There were no damages to the consumers vehicle, but there damages to the other vehicle and there were no injuries. . The dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle had no warranties on it. The vehicle was taken to another repair shop where the mechanic stated that the motor to the seat failed and it needed to be repaired. The motor was repaired at the owners expense. 2002 Infiniti I-35 engine stalled while driving. Consumer states that the mechanic replaced the bank 1 and bank 2 camshaft sensor at his expense. Consumer had recall work for crank position sensor and camshaft position sensors done prior to incident. The driver side seat would not move forward or backward. The dealer stated the power seat motor failed.
When putting head up against head rest it will automatically fall back, causing consumer to lose control of vehicle. Contacted dealer.
