Loud Engine Noise Problems of Infiniti JX35

During the week of December 29th, my car had the same shuddering noise as described in service bulletin: TSB no. Itb15-012d. The noise coming from the engine area sounded like a bag that was being on the ground during those few days. I brought my car into a local repair shop, thinking it would be brakes since that has been the only issue with the car. However, after driving on the freeway there was a loud noise like something dropped on the ground and my husband was able to pull the vehicle over to the middle fork of the road and the car completely ceased. It no longer moved forward while the engine still ran. We had it towed back to the local repair shop, which was diagnosed as a transmission issue. This was extremely scary where this was a very busy freeway and this was clearly a mechanical defect, since I mostly drive the car locally to pick up my four children. This should be a recall rather than a service bulletin, which almost took our life with this mechanical defect.
