Automatic Transmission problem #1

The contact owns a 2007 Infiniti M35. When the contact pushed the on/off button under the steering wheel to turn off the vehicle, it went in reverse at approximately 10 mph. The contact sustained minor knee injuries. The vehicle stopped once it hit a pillar. The current and failure mileages were 3,196. Updated 03-07-08 the consumer also stated the airbags didn't deploy. The consumer stated the engine was still running after the crash, the vehicle was in neutral at the bottom of the hill. The incident was reported to the police, but no one came out, since it was on private property. The consumer stated after his wife parked the vehicle, she noticed the radio was still on, so she assumed the ignition was on as well. She opened the door, and reached for the ignition button while still standing on the ground outside of the vehicle hoping to turn off the ignition. The engine started, even thought the consumers foot was not on the brake. The consumer also stated the battery was defective and had to be replaced 3 weeks after the vehicle was purchased. Updated 06/25/08.

Power Train problem #2

During the town driving car lost complete power. All the light on dash board including "mil" light came on. As a result I had to get emergency repairs costing $ 600. I also took car to dealership where to reprogram throttle position sensor cost me over $120. 00. Two weeks later I get notice from infinity that this a known issue and they will come up with solution for this problem. To this date I have not heard anything for either reimbursement or a fix. .

Transmission Fluid Leaking problem #3

I was driving the car in the national redwood park I-101 south bound just 100 mile south of eureka, the car suddenly lose power and came with loud noise, then just big white smoke everywhere, I almost lost control of this vehicle but finally pull over to the shoulder, asked my wife & my kid go out immediately for the potential fire, the transmission fluid was everywhere. After took long time and long negotiation to tow my car to a Nissan dealer about 100 mile away, they diagnosed the issue: the internal transmission oil cooler hose detached from the cooler due to inadequate clamping, allowing transmission fluid to leak. Which is exactly the same recall filed recently as "2013 Nissan pathfinder recalled for transmission fluid leak". I brought my vehicle to my local Infiniti dealer and have both records for that.
