1 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 04/25/2019

Electrical fault in a sensor that I believe causes the engine to shut down. This issue was reported to Infiniti but not corrected; although, Nissan issued a voluntary recall citing a sensor failure that can lead to engine shutdown.

2 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 08/10/2018

As I was driving on a normal city street in regular traffic, the driver seat suddenly started moving forward, powered by the seat control. I reached down to push the lever/seat control back, but the seat motor would not stop; it pushed the seat fully forward. I stopped the car to move it back and was unable to. The other seat functions worked: up, down, tilt, etc. This has happened on four separate occasions. The last three times the seat motor has started working again of its own accord. This time it is still stuck forward.

3 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 03/03/2014

Right rear door does not lock or unlock when driver activates door lock lever. Also does not unlock or lock when using the remote door lock/unlock device. This first occurred at about 100,000 miles. The dealership diagnosed the problem as a faulty door lock assembly and said the repair cost would be over $700. I chose not to have it repaired. The same problems apply to the front passenger side door. This occurred at about 110,000 miles. Again I chose not to spend $700+ to repair that. The same problems apply to the driver side door. This occurred at about 113,000 miles. I again chose not to pay $700+ for repairs. Since three of my four doors have now exhibited the same defect, I asked the dealer to have an infinity representative contact me. I was contacted and told that infinity would not take any responsibility for the costs of these needed repairs because of the mileage and age of the car.

4 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 08/31/2013

My pedal stopped working, then it cut completely off while I was driving on a major hwy doing 60mph. I just received a recall notice in the email yesterday 11. 12. 2013, NHTSA recall 13v-430, now, I spoke with a rep stating I will receive another notice. This action has already happened to me and I have replaced it out of my own pocket. I do not see why I should have to wait on a second notice. Clearly in the recall letter it states, if the mil is illuminated, contact your Infiniti retailer immediately and it will make arrangements for an immediate repair. Do not continue using your vehicle. Again, this has already happened to me and I have paid for the replacement, what am I waiting for in order to get a full refund?????.
