The contact owns a 2008 Infiniti M35. While attempting to accelerate from a stop, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that a belt in the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified. The contact was aware of NHTSA campaign number: 13v430000 (vehicle speed control). The failure mileage was 169,000.
