Two problems related to front driver side air bag inflator have been reported for the 2006 Infiniti M45. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I received a notification of the takata inflator deficiency in may of 2016. I contacted my local Infiniti dealership and was informed that the replacement part was not available. I was informed that the part would be available in July 2016. In contacting the dealership in July, I was informed that the part would not be available until September. In September, I was informed that the part may be available in mid-November. I contacted the dealership on today and I am being told that the part may be available in December 2016. This is unacceptable to be use my sedan as intended, which is resulting in a hardship for me and my family.
Infiniti has made no effort to replace the faulty air bag inflators in a timely manner. I want to have the air bag inflators replaced so that the car is safe to drive.
