The vehicle has an unsafe operating characteristic. When calling for immediate acceleration, you get nothing for several seconds. It has a significant lag in throttle response, up to 4 seconds, which when lane changing or merging causes a significant safety problem. We have been nearly rear-ended on several occasions.
