Other Fuel System Problems of Infiniti M45

I bought the vehicle from the owner and it drove fine til recently I was at a light and it started to want to turn off and did I could not get it to atart again stuck at a light for another 5 mins of trying to turn it on. It has continue to do so as im driving while coming to a stop and all lights turn on and stalls again til it dies.

Tl the contact owns a 2003 Infiniti M45. While stationary and while driving various speeds,the vehicle stalled without warning on several occasions. The contact stated that there was a complete loss of power. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and was able to restart the vehicle. On another occasion, the contact stated that the engine indicator illuminated and "check your fuel cap" displayed on the instrument panel. A dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failures. The contact cited NHTSA campaign number: 03v455000 (engine and engine cooling) as a possible cause of the failures, as reported by a code reader. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

Faulty fuel system component with prior dealer warranty, check engine light noted it is bad fuel evaporator. In motion indicator light went on. Driver seat loose, piece in slower structure needed to be welded because seat had play and went back and forth. In motion.

The contact owns a 2003 Infiniti M45. The contact stated that the vehicle randomly stalled without warning. The manufacturer and the dealer indicated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 12v088000 (fuel system, gasoline) and 03v455000 (engine and engine cooling). The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was unable to determine when the failure would recur. The failure mileage was not available.

Since buying the 45m. I have ran out of gas while the gas guage level reads full. The first time I was simply drive the a busy highway going about 40mph. The car just suddenly begin to sputter then came to a stop while other cars tried to avoid hitting me.

This vehicle randomly will shut down all mechanical systems simultaneously at any speed which creates an extremely dangerous situation, especially around other traffic, which could result in a crash. The car's "service engine soon" light appears, the car immediately loses engine power, brakes, and steering and many times will not restart immediately which puts the passengers at risk of a crash in any situation. These are the exact same symptoms of a recall issued by Infiniti for the 2003 M45, however, Infiniti insists that this vehicle is not included in the recall. I have already changed the crank position sensors. Camshaft position sensor(s), and in some cases, the variable timing control sensor(s).

2004 Infiniti M45 ran out of gas with my gauge reading 1/4 left. Found out it is a problem with gauge cluster which is about $1000. 00 to replace. I have found out this is a common problem but Infiniti refuses to help with the cost. There needs to be a recall. Thank you.

Put car in reverse and stopped. Put in forward and check engine soon came up on screen. Went to auto zone to check code and they said fuel level sender was bad. I then found on internet that numerous other owners had same problem. I contacted infinite of orland ,service department and they said they knew nothing about this problem.

I have had my Infiniti M45 vehicle only four months now and I just realized about 3 weeks ago that the gas gauge wasn't reading correctly and I did some research on it. Going on a lot of forums, ive been getting many people saying this happens to their vehicle. I went down to ask about a price for the part and job and I was told 900 or so. I do not believe it is fare to myself and many other Infiniti drivers to have to spend that much on an already great luxury vehicle. I been stuck 2 times on the highway and one time with my daughter. This was my gift after a rough deployment and I believe if I should get charged it should only be the labor work for an hour or so.

Incorrect gas level on 2004 Infiniti M45. Common problem with many M45's in 2003 and 2004. Gauge cluster needs to be replaced.
