1 Tire problem of the 2007 Infiniti M45

Failure Date: 05/09/2013

Michelin pilot sport as plus are starting to fall apart in the tread area. Michelin tire salesman informed me that they were "chunking" a condition that has been noted on cars brought in for evaluation of the tires. Tires are actually falling apart in the tread area and could lead to premature blowouts or massive change of balance which can result in loss of life if being driven by an unsuspecting driver. I have reported this to michelin and they tell me there is no defect in the tire, but if I want to change the tires out, I have to pay for the amount of wear. Wear varies now across these tires since they are loosing rubber in the tread area thus shortening the life of the tire. These tires are a real safety concern.

2 Tire problem of the 2006 Infiniti M45

Failure Date: 08/06/2010

This car cannot keep a straight line on any road. I have had all four tires replaced, all four wheels replaced, five tire alignments/balances done to no avail. This has caused severe danger when driving on both one and two lane roads, as the car will suddenly move into other lanes. Has caused another car to go off the road to avoid my car hitting theirs causing damage and injury to that person. I, as well as other complainants on here, have been told that Infiniti is aware that there is a defect in the steering rack but is not authorizing dealers to repair or replace under warranty. This issue effects all Infiniti m35s and M45s from 2006-2010. Class action lawsuit is in progress.

3 Tire problem of the 2003 Infiniti M45

Failure Date: 12/08/2003

Michelin pilot hx mxm4 all season tires failed in 1" wet snow condition. Michelin isrefusing to accept tires do not work in snow. They were sold as all season and have a m+s on the side for mud and snow. My car slid off the crown of the road into the grass. The conditions were not icy. All of our other cars had no trouble. I want michelin to compensate me for the snow tires I had to buy and install so that I could drive in snow fo a total of $800.
