While driving my vehicle on 12/06/2025, a wheel separated from the vehicle at the knuckle/ball joint area. This resulted in an immediate loss of safe operation and required the vehicle to be taken out of service. The failure involved the wheel/suspension/steering assembly. This event created a serious safety risk, as loss of a wheel while in operation can cause loss of control and endanger the driver, and other motorists. The vehicle became unsafe to drive and has not been operated since the incident. The vehicle has not been repaired. It remains available for inspection and is currently being held at an authorized dealership. No teardown or repairs have been performed. The issue has not been reproduced because the vehicle has not been driven since the failure. The failure has not yet been confirmed through repair, as no repairs or disassembly have been authorized. The manufacturer has been notified. No inspection or written findings have been provided by the manufacturer to date. Insurance representatives and dealership personnel are aware of the incident, but no corrective action has been taken. There were no known warning lights, messages, or abnormal symptoms immediately prior to the failure. The wheel separation occurred suddenly without prior indication.

I experienced an ongoing grinding/rattling noise from the wheel/brake area. The vehicle was serviced multiple times by a franchised dealer, which diagnosed the issue as brake-related and performed brake repairs. The noise was not resolved, and the vehicle was returned in the same condition. Shortly after service, an independent mechanic discovered a cracked/broken brake pad installed on the vehicle. Due to safety concerns, the manufacturer authorized inspection at a separate franchised dealership under different ownership. That inspection confirmed aftermarket brake pads, rotors, and related components of unknown origin installed on both the front and rear, missing oem hardware, improper lubrication, and wheel bearing issues contributing to the noise. The inspecting dealer documented that the braking system must be returned to oem specifications before safe operation and further diagnosis could continue. Despite this, the manufacturer has declined to require oem remediation, and the vehicle continues to operate with unauthorized aftermarket brake components. The grinding noise has continued and has since shifted toward the rear. The condition is reproducible, documented by video, and confirmed by independent inspection. I believe the vehicle was returned to service in an unsafe condition involving a critical braking system.

In October of 2023 I was driving onto the high way and my car just started to slow down I could not accelerate that gas while I was on the highway which is very dangerous when you are on the highway. My car turn off completely the engine light started to blink. All the lights were blinking. The only thing that was on was my radio. I could not move the car I was having. Trouble putting the car into park. Everything was stuck. Good thing I was not in the middle of the highway and not on a really busy highway but it was late at night. Drivers on the high way and myself are out at risk I could not even put my hazards on. A car could have crash into me and serious injury’s could have happen. I was stuck and was having trouble putting the car in park. Could not go into neutral. For a car to come to a sudden stop not be able to put the car in park that can be a risk factor due to if the car turn back on going into neutral on its own. The car was fixed with new engine at an auto body in July or August 2024 now the engine light is on again the car will not even turn on. All the oil leaked out. Infiniti did my last oil change and said it was due at 117k which that is my current reading. When the oil all leaked out the car had a steering issue it crashed into a guardrail. That is the second time the car slow down had some type of issue is a big risk factor in August 2024 when the oil came out the car that can cause a fire and lost of steering the car crashed into rail with us in it. I did not have any warning signs about this going to happen. The car has not been driven since.
Dunlop sp sport 5000 dsst p245/40rf19 developed sidewall bubble spontaneously. Had to replace two tires at less than 30,000 miles. Both tires had plenty of tread life left (> 6/32).
Bridgestone potenza re97as tires are delaminating and peeling away in strips and areas that appear to be air pockets are being exposed and opened up as the tread wears. Dot ej up ccm1516. Tires have approximately 25k miles on them and always were under normal driving conditions, florida only car.

I was pulling off from the grocery store and my car stalled like it didnt wantto go. So I stopped and put it back in park and then started to proceed again. . . . Thats when I got all the flashing errors for my awd and the chassis system. The rear right abs sensor is the problem per the dealer. My awd error light and chassis system error light are on along with the abs light. I've read up on alot of peoples comments about the same problem. This issue needs to be dealt with with the manufacturer as this seems to happen more often after the warranty runs out. This is my second Infiniti car, and was hoping not to run into these expensive sensor issues all over again. My next car will not be an Infiniti.

This afternoon I had another blowout of a run-flat tire. This is the 7th blowout in under 17 months. Over my driving career I have driven over a million miles, by my calculations, and have never had a blowout. I was traveling at highway speed on the long island expressway when I hit a small pothole. Tires are bridgestone 245/40 rf 19 98w.
While I was driving my Infiniti on the highway my serpentine belt snapped 4 different times while in motion. All within one year. Including me getting my car back from the dealer and them letting me have it back that way. Also, the tires are horrendous, from day one, they pulled the car left or right on the car. All the settings were correct on the car. I wanted to have the tires replaced, by the manufacturer, and that can be done because no it's to long and everyone took to long to make things happen. Not to mention dunlop is impossible to get a hold of.

I rented a vehicle from hertz at george bush intercontinental airport in houston, texas Friday may 18, 2018. About 2 hours into my trip I checked the vehicle information and discovered that the tire pressure was not at manufactures specifications (35psi). The front two tires were at about 44psi, the rear drivers side tire was at 59psi and the rear passenger tire was at about 40psi. I immediately called hertz emergency road assistance (8006544174) and notified them of the issue. I was advised to notify the location upon returning the vehicle. After making this call I was in an auto accident. The vehicle hydroplaned and slid across the highway, eventually making one or more 360 turns until stopping. I called hertz emergency road assistance to notify them of the incident and was advised to drive to the closest open location which was over 130 miles from the accident, since the vehicle was still operable. I do not believe that this incident was a result of manufacture issues, I do however believe that negligence on behalf of the rental car company in maintain the vehicle resulted in the vehicle hydroplaning. When I retired to the hertz location at bush intercontinental, I spoke with alec, a manager at the location, and he confirmed that it is standard protocol that tire pressure is checked for all returned vehicles. If the tire pressure on this vehicle was not checked I am confident there are others with the same or similar issues. I am not sure if this is the proper authority to handle this matter but I do believe an investigation of some sort is necessary. Attached to this complaint are pictures of the car trip information with psi. The picture from Friday when I originally noticed the issue. The picture from Sunday at 3:12 was shortly after the incident and the picture at the mobile airport is when I returned the vehicle. There is also a picture of damage.
Run flat tires went flat on a pothole that was not even realized on a Sunday with no service station open. Even if they were, the tire has to be replaced, cannot be repaired. There is no spare tire option- when contacted, company refused " not possible". This is not safe at all and must be addressed. Must have spare tire esp since run flat tires cannot be repaired and are not in stock at most service stations.
Campers. The car does not have any alignment issues. Does not steer left or right. No pot holes rolled over. But the car is burning the tires from the inside wear of the tires equally in both front tires. Inifiniti dealer suggested I buy 4 new tires since all four are about the same since I have been rotating. And they blame the alignment of the car. I see no issues with my alignment and they say everything looks good underneath the car it's just out on line.
Car comes with 19"rims and run flat tires (bridgestone drive guard). Since leasoing the car in November 2018, I have received 8 flat tires all from "potholes" that ripped the side wall. Consumer affairs says this tire should not be on this car in certain states in this case new york. Infiniti dealers do not offer an option and the unsuspecting consumer is left with a hazardous situation. Your eyes can leave the road as you search for even small potholes to avoid. When the tire does go flat and you are more than 25-50 miles away from a repair shop you are in danger of being stranded. I was stranded in a snowy wooded area and had to drive 25 miles in treacherous conditions with a child in the car just to find a replacement. The tire should not be on a car with a heavy front end per the tire dealer and tire repair shop. Infiniti knows this and will offer to pay for a new tire, rather than putting customer safety first and discontinuing this tire/rim in NY state. In several instances the pot hole hit was less than the width of the tire.
It started with a flat tire and the psi light lite up on board and flat tire also, had the flat tire fixed and took car to the shop where I got tires replaced, within a year of ownership, replaced due to them being bubbled gm replaced them for free; took car to (just tires gm recommendation) with free tire balance and rotation and they also did front end alignment, after that lights was still on and shop rep said to drive the car a couple miles and it would reset itself so I did and still light was on drove to church on 4 lane hwy 85 n bound and I felt a slight tug on the right passenger side of the front of the car and decided to move out of the lane behind a 18 wheeler as I attempted to move out of my lane the car made a sudden jerk back in the lane which I was in and the wheel locked and I could not control or unlock it and the car began to spin and slide into the rear end of the 18 wheeler, the sonar system was engaged and it did not respond to what it was designed to do, nor did the lane departure indicator, nor the anti-braking anti skidding work as it was designed which caused the accident which lead me going to the hospital with a diagnosis of muscle inflammation. The sonar failed was illuminated on the dash. My 2014 Q50 sedan was equipped with sonar, lane departure, blind spot indicator; it was fully equipped. I am very sure that the steering and anti-braking anti skidding did not engage as it should. Infiniti will send an inspector to the totaled car and pull the black box/or chip and check out what went wrong. Waiting on the result on or after June 14 or 16 as of their decision.
Dunlop p245/r40r19 run flats. These tires should not be allowed to be sold to the public until the issues are resolved. We were driving home when the flat tire light came home. We were on city streets. Aaa put on the spare tire. The dealership stated on the repair order that the sidewall of tire was blown out. We had to purchase a new tire for $468. A week later - the 3 remaining tires all have bubbles on the sidewalls. This is a safety hazard! I am unable to get new tires until tomorrow as they have to be ordered and I'm ordering michelins - not dunlops! only driven on the new for 2 weeks and can not receive a refund or a portion of the money back that I've spend. I have a complaint in to goodyear who have stated that they "may" attempt to make the issue right. They told me to have the tires inspected - which I have - only to be told what I already know - they all have damage to the sidewall. We've only put 14k miles on the tires total.

I have a 2014 Infiniti Q50 sx awd with run flat tires I. E. Dunlop sp sport 5000 dsst ctt 245/40r19 . . These tires are dangerous prone to failure from the slightest pot if you should hit one. At less than 4k miles I had a tire failure and just recenttly another failure aaaaat 14k miles. I have never had tire problems with any of my previous automobiles. Please, look into this matter. I have no confidence when I drive this car and still have 2 years left on my lease. Please, please help.
Steering wheel failed to respond. Wheels felt disconnected with the steering wheel. It could have been tragic if I was driving at a higher speed.
