One problem related to universal joint has been reported for the 1998 Infiniti QX4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Whenever abs brakes were applied, would make a clunking sound. Problem intermittent. Have taken vehicle to dealer, and informed by mechanic that problem could not be located. Owner felt it sounded like "u" joint went out.
