Frame Rust problems of the 2001 Infiniti QX4

The contact owns a 2001 infinti Qx4. The contact stated that the frame was rusted on the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer (Infiniti of akron located at 3332 s arlington rd akron, OH 44312), but was not repaired because the frame needed to be replaced and was not covered under the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but was unable to offer assistance. The recall details were not provided. The failure mileage was 154,000.

Consumer states the front right side of the unibody frame has rusted out dangerously at the area of the lower control arm intersection the consumer stated the frame had to be re-welded. The consumer was informed the air conditioning drain line dripped directly on the spot of the corrosion.
