I was driving at a slow rate of speed when I felt and heard a noise in the steering column and brake pedal. Upon further inspection I saw the driver side strut tower had broken loose from the welds on the frame causing the tower to become dislodged from the frame itself.

There is a pulsing feel in the brakes. Have checked online and realized that it seems to be a common enough complaint by other owners. On hard stops the push back by the pedal is hard enough that the brakes lockup intermittently. This is different from the pulsing feel of the anti-lock system. It feels as though the rotors are warped. It is felt in the steering wheel also, and increasingly in the vehicle in normal driving without applying the brakes. It is not the tires which are fastidiously kept new omi. No incident yet but I believe there is a trend that needs to be investigated.

I have found that the brake and accelerator pedals are too close together, making it easy to hit the gas instead of the brake. There are several complaints about sudden acceleration and I would believe that might be the cause. I am a small person with average size feet and have had two scary incidents with this issue. Also have the broken radio problems affecting nearly every owner which should be a class action lawsuit.
Brakes replaced due to experiencing a ticking & squealing noise.
