The contact owns a 2005 Infiniti Qx56. The contact was driving 40 mph when all of the instrument panel lights illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel gauge was defective and providing an inaccurate fuel level reading. The contact was advised that the vehicle was not included in the recall under NHTSA campaign id number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other:storage:fuel gauge system). The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 73,900 and the current mileage was 73,950.
When car stop on stop sign, ready to go, brief a moment it hold a car & then go. I have been taking to a dealer for fix ,they couldn't fix or they couldn't find a problem. Seems to me either the transmission or fuel relate problem. My car is Infiniti Qx56. Please look in to this problem.
