Four problems related to other fuel system have been reported for the 2012 Infiniti QX56. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I had my catalytic converter replaced back in December 2016 . There was a recall for catalytic converter so I had it replaced. Now the check engine light is back on so I got it checked out and was told that I needed to replace the catalytic converter again. 35k miles later.
The fuel rail pressure center malfunction is not working. Car stalls when driving - check engine light is on.
There's a strong odor of gasoline once we park the vehicle. I did some searches online and noticed there was a recall for Nissan/infinit 2012 vehicles due to the fuel pressure sensors may not have been sufficiently tightened during production. As a result, the fuel pressure sensor may loosen with vehicle usage and cause a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could cause a vehicle fire. this includes 2012 infinit Qx56 which is the vehicle we have but when I search my vehicles VIN, your site tells me there is no recall. I believe more vehicles than originally thought might have this recall issue.
