I was driving on interstate 435 w. In kansas city kansas. It was about 4:15 am traveling at 70-72 mph my visibility was ok but I thought that if I use my highbeam it would be better. As soon as I clicked high beam on my car instantly turned off. My headlights my interior lights and my radio powered off. As a panic reaction since I had zero visibility and it was dark outside my foot the brakes. As I remember my sibal had already tightened up before hitting the brakes but before I could realize it my car part powered back on by itself without me doing anything I look at my speedometer and I was going about 67-69. When my car powered on it seems as if it rezoned as if nothing had happened now I believe if I was in kansas city kansas rush-hour I would have caused a severe accident . Even though it was maybe for a second or two that my car had powered off it was more that my car came to a complete stop and I believe with everything that was electrical they have power it off I don't believe that my brake lights would have worked as well. If that were the case I would've never have gave the driver behind me any kind of warning for them to be able to slow down. Luckily it was 4 am in the morning with no traffic that I didn't cause any kind of accident because it would have been unknown how badly it would've cost if they were traffic. I'm not sure what caused this but I know as soon as I had exited off the the interstate I turn the car off turn it back on seem just fine when I went to go turn on the lights my car again powered off. I waited about 15 minutes before I started the car again and it started up just fine waiting for it to warm up turn my lights on again and it did nothing this time and I was able to resume home.
The custer gaugae and the gas hand continues to go out has been replaced 2 times and needs relpacing again.
The contact owns a 2010 Infiniti Qx56. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 mph, the vehicle dynamic control off slip on warning indicator illuminated and stayed on until the vehicle stopped. The contact also stated that the failure occurred four times prior to the vehicle being taken to the dealer for a diagnosis. The vehicle was taken to the dealer four times and they adjusted the brakes but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.
When I am driving (pressing the gas) an inconsistent random clicking noise that's affecting the brake system and usage is heard. It's difficult to accelerate. In the past, I would simply turn off the vehicle and turn it back on and the noise would stop. It was difficult to explain and show to any mechanic because it does it randomly and unexpectedly, therefore it would never do it when needed. I went on because it wasn't often at first. Now it's at an extreme level as if the vehicle doesn't want to drive and I could be on the highway (you can imagine how scary that is at high speeds).
I replace my altanator and always had a problem with the rpm gauge? it dose not move or sometimes stays at the 6/7 and as of recently the car looses power and almost crashed on the freeway also I bought this car in 2014.
During normal operation of the vehicle and while in motion, the abs brake light indicator on the dash control panel illuminates when applying the brakes, which cause the brakes to shake and make scraping sound. At that point the brakes fail to stop the vehicle in a safe distance, increasing the chance of a collision. Abs brake light clears and normal brake functions return when the ignition is turned off, then back on.
There wasn't any accidents, but if this problem doesn't get resolved there will be. This is by far the most unsafe vehicle I've ever come across! if you hit any irregular road surface or pothole your car shifts. If you are traveling at high speeds it will actually throw your car into the lane to the right. I've read several forums with the same type of complaints. I don't understand why this is still a problem I'm terrified to drive my kids in this and I'm unfortunately stuck in this vehicle because I'm upside down. This needs addressed immediately what a terrible vehicle I will never buy another!.
Took my car to get new breaks and he said I needed new control arms. I asked how I know and he said tire wear. I have gone thru 6 sets ( thought it was because it was a heavy SUV and a make a lot of right turns) he also said back end slipping (this has happened a lot as well I thought it was because nothing was in the back like a truck) I called Infiniti and they say I have to pay $95 and no guarantee they will fix it for free. I see a bunch of stuff online about 2007 control arms so need to know why my car is not included or at least looked at for free.
