I took my car in for oil change to Infiniti dealer (Infiniti of nashua) on 4/29/26 and was told by dealer that the rear subframe is rusted and my car is not safe to drive, with a repair estimate of $13,184 to replace rear subframe with all hardware. Actually, I had oil change and 4 wheel alignment done at the same Infiniti dealer less than a year back on 6/25/25. At that visit, the only recommended work was to replace oil pan (beginning to rust), battery service, and wiper replacement. There was no mention of a rusting rear subframe. My car is available for inspection, and I am afraid to drive this car. My car is up todate on inspection, registration etc. There were no warning signs prior to this that I noticed.
