Seats Problems of Infiniti QX60

Am filing this complaint regarding a serious safety incident involving my leased 2025 Infiniti Qx60 and Infiniti’s response to the incident. While the vehicle was parked, the second-row seat was being manually operated when a child’s foot became trapped within the seat mechanism. The child’s foot could not be released despite repeated attempts. The child remained trapped for approximately one hour, and 911 was called for assistance. Emergency responders ultimately had to remove/dismantle the second-row seat in order to free the child. The child required medical evaluation and treatment following the incident, resulting in medical expenses. The emergency rescue also left the vehicle’s seat damaged and in need of repair. The incident was reported to Infiniti because of our concern that a child was able to become trapped in the seat mechanism during its operation. Infiniti subsequently arranged for the vehicle to be inspected. Following its investigation, Infiniti informed us that it did not believe the vehicle or seat had malfunctioned and, based on that conclusion, declined to provide any financial assistance. Our concern, however, is not limited to whether Infiniti considers the seat to have mechanically “malfunctioned. ” if the seat operated as Infiniti says it was designed to operate, we believe that raises an important safety question as to how a child’s foot could become trapped so severely that emergency responders had to remove the seat to free the child. We were not aware of a risk that operation of the second-row seat could result in this type of entrapment, nor were we provided with a clear or conspicuous warning that alerted us to this specific danger before the incident. We are asking that this matter be reviewed as a potential vehicle safety and consumer issue. We would also like Infiniti to address the actual circumstances of the incident and the adequacy of the warnings and safeguards associated with the second-row seat, rather than limiting its.

Power button works from third row when pushed. Even with weight in the seat the middle row can move freely on the track.

We leased a 2023 Infiniti Qx60 in may 2023. After the birth of our third child recently in 2025, we discovered that when two car seats are installed in the second row using seat belts (as required), the seats cannot be flipped forward. This makes the third row completely inaccessible without removing the children and car seats each time, our children in the second row would also have to be forward facing to allow room for our car seat in the rear. Which each child at this point is rear facing and under 50lbs. Our child in the third row cannot enter and exit safely, and we cannot verify if he is buckled in correctly. In the event of an emergency, this poses a serious safety risk. The vehicle’s configuration is not suitable for safe transport of three children using car seats, which is a typical use case for this type of family vehicle.

The driver seat on this vehicle is loose. It rocks when I drive. The vehicle is still under warranty; however, the manufacturer/dealership has not resolved this issue. I have reported several concerns regarding this vehicle.

I purchased this vehicle as a new vehicle. Shortly after purchasing the vechicle I began to hear rattling and noises. I took the vehicle to the dealership and they refused to offer assistance. The manufacturer did assist. They sent an inspector in to review the vehicle and they gave me compensation for my numerous service visits. However the rattling remains. Additionally the driver seat moves back and forth and mg gas tank is loose.
