2008 medtec ambulance that has failure of the street side interior wall and cabinets. The entire wall and cabinetry were not installed properly during new construction and now have failed to where they are falling off the ceiling and have buckled away from the exterior shell of the ambulance. Seat belt restraints were also found to be fastened into 3/4" plywood only. These will not meet the required dot and and pull testing and would have failed grossly in an accident. The corporation has failed to stand behind this product, stating that it does not fall under any warranty clause for the vehicle. The vehicle has been removed from service as it is clearly a safety for emergency crews and patients alike. Action or involvement is being requested from the NHTSA for this particular vehicle and also others that are still in service that may very likely have the same deficiencies and be a safety hazard.
