Transmission will not shift from park. Need to use the emergency brake or shifter jams. Transmission gearbox light is on and car is not shifting. Advised from dealer that the complete transmission needs replaced at a cost of over $5k. Known problem when searching on internet. Sometimes the gear shifter will not come out of park.
