One problem related to engine belts and pulleys has been reported for the 1999 Jaguar Vanden Plas. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving timing chain failed, causing the engine to blow, and had complete loss of power, including no steering and brakes. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer. Also, contacted the manufacturer. Neither were willing to assist consumer.
