03 X-type veered to right in avoidance maneuver, spun into embankment causing violent rollover. Driver (wearing seat belts) was partially ejected and died of resulting injuries when drivers side front door separated from vehicle. Also drivers air bag and pass side dash air bag failed to deploy although side curtain air bags did.
Air bags did not deploy during a head on collision.
