1 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 07/15/2016

I have a 2004 X-type Jaguar and the air bag light on the drivers side will not go off. I had it checked out only to find out that should I get in an accident the air bag will not deploy. The dealership wants around $1500. 00 to repair it. I am hoping it is a recall.

2 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 01/25/2009

The receiver end of the drivers side seat belt has failed and cannot be connected.

3 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2007

On January 1, 2007 I was coming to a stop in heavy traffic. I applied the brake but the car lurched forward and I accelerated into a stopped car containing a family. I occasionally experienced the problem of unitended acceleration prior to the accident but at the time of the accident, I had not put the facts together. In the spring of 2008, I was on wet pavement going downhill when I applied the brake. The car seemed to accelerate rather than deaccelerate and I was thrown forward and into the rear of stopped pick up truck. I was injured on both occasions. I have called on Jaguar on several occasions to inquire about the problem I have described herein. Each time Jaguar denied any knoweldge of any such problems associated with my car. The car currently has 72,000 miles and I rarely drive it. Frankly, I'm too afraid to drive it. Sincerely, betty tsamis tsamis law firm pc 1509 west berwyn, suite 201e chicago, IL 60640 866-703-5509.

4 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 11/19/2005

Passenger seat belt indicator lights up at random times when my wife is sitting in the passenger seat. (when the light is on, the seat belt will not deploy!) the problem is on going. Jaguar was witness to the failure and has attempted to fix the problem on several occasions. The repair efforts have been unsuccessful and further attempts to have Jaguar correct the problem have resulted in Jaguar claiming that all aspects of the seat are up to design specifications. They refuse further corrective measures. This particular problem does not occur when my wife is in the passenger seat of other vehicles.
