1 Transfer Case problem

Failure Date: 03/20/2014

Was driving approximately 30mph on my way to the dealer for scheduled oil change and without any warning the car started making a grinding noise and stopped. It would not move forward or reverse. Managed to get the car to the side of the road and called the dealer for assistance. Upon inspection the dealer told me the car needed a transmission and transfer case because the internal gears were fragmented.

2 Transfer Case problem

Failure Date: 12/24/2009

At approximately 53,000 miles, without warning, the automatic transmission in my 2006 Jaguar X-type completely and catastrophically failed. The failure included the transfer case and the main gear box, where the actual gears were broken into fragments.
