Driving Jaguar Xf and hood bonnet opened at 45 miles an hour on its own. Destroyed winds shield and the body around the windshield causing almost 2 accidents emotional stress and the inconvenience of not having a car to get to my promotion meeting. Pulling up on a highway. The harlingen cops were called made it to my home and the cop made no notes and just gave us a incident number. There was a recall for airbags on this car also after this happened all motorists went haywire and display started going off and saying every sensor was wrong.

5 Body problem of the 2015 Jaguar XF

Failure Date: 09/22/2018

I was driving down the highway and noticed my car did not want to pull when I sped up. A few more miles down the road I noticed smoke coming from my tail pipe and the my air vents. So I pulled over, got out, and walked around to the front of the car and noticed what looked like oil on the side of my car. By this time fire started coming from under the hood. Within minutes my car was blazing and a total loss. What happened to my car? that's what I really want to know. How does a 2015 Jaguar with only 36,000 catch and fire and burn up.

9 Body problem of the 2010 Jaguar XF

Failure Date: 05/30/2015

The leather dash(why, in hot cars?) has crumbled and come apart from the dash itself. It started off with a little crumbling and separation. Now it's much worse. This tends to flap up and down if driving with the windows down. This is a safety concern I have with visibility. Also, the dome vanity lights come on and off by themselves in motion and when the vehicle is stationary. I was told the carbon pad kit by the dealership due to the wiring has shorted out. Also, the engine control module shorted out. This is beyond me how the computer shorted out in a car that's only 7 years old.

10 Body problem of the 2011 Jaguar XF

Failure Date: 09/15/2012

We were driving north on I-75 and exited at highway m-24. As we turned rt. , the left front tire lost air pressure (lt. Front car tire was recently changed and not sure proper sealant was used when installing new tire) and the car suddenly shot to the left and we went over an embankment into a ditch for approx. 20 feet then shot up and over an expressway entrance ramp into a steel barrier. The seat belts were on both of us and the airbags deployed. We both suffered severe blunt force body trauma and had to be taken by ems to the local hospital. Recovery has been slow as whip lash and back injuries just don't seem to want to heal. On another note, my right ear was damaged by the explosion from the air bag deployment and now I have high shrill ringing 24/7 and can't sleep. I have been to hearing specialists and they say it is tenitius (spelling) but there does not seem to be any solution. Does anyone in government have any solutions? this is driving me crazy.

11 Body problem of the 2012 Jaguar XF

Failure Date: 03/16/2012

First test ride with salesman driving. I got into the passenger side and closed the door. When the salesman started the car the instrument panel alerted him that my door was not fully latched. He got out and came around and closed my door more firmly. I thought nothing of this at the time. A month later I was driving a friend about and she had repeated problems with not closing the door firmly enough. The door bounced back out so that the trailing edge was about 0. 125 inches out from the rear door. Took the car to the dealer. They said they will adjust the door in the service bay. After adjustment door bounced when service tech demonstrated that it was now 'fixed'. Service then said, that due to the law, they would have to send to body shop for further adjustment. I declined. Eleven months later door still bouncing and brought it back to dealer for servicing. Dealer again adjusted door, then sent it to body shop and said it is now fixed. I disagreed, saying door still bounces. Based on dealer 'fix' jag customer relations says door now meets manufacturers specs. Is this a safety issue.
