To the best of my ability id like to explain why my car does not operate . I have taken my car to two Jaguar dealership and have talked to rocco' s european car repair shop as well and the all say that what is defective with my car is the central junction box. When I asked them all as to why this does not function they all said its a known problem with the car specifically due to "water ingress" leaking from the windshield wiper pump and on to the underside of the central junction box and my wires are corroded and cause electrical failure as the say water and electricity are not a safe combination. With this malfunction my car no longer starts . Yes of course my car is available for inspection and it has been confirmed by both hennessey Jaguar of atlanta and Jaguar south atlanta both have provided documentation as to the necessity to change the central junction box and both dealership's are not privately owned and not connected to one another yet they state the same reason as to why my car will not function. Yes my 2013 Jaguar is a dangerous vehicle to drive as the car doors spontaneously opened and closed on their own the interior lights turned on and off and some other malfunctions engaged even when not engaged to do so I believe the breaking system also flashed traction control turns on even though I didn't ask it to be turned on. I am afraid that my car with water in the junction box could lead to an electrical fire as told to me by numerous mechanics yes my car was inspected by both dealerships in atlanta and both diagnosed the problem and being the "cjb. " the symptoms initially started with my doors mysteriously locking and unlocking and then other electrical problems occurred after that. These symptoms first appeared in 2021 and there were messages that flashed on the dash message especially one that said see owners handbook I may not be sure of the wording but that's essentially the message . This is my best assessment of the problems.

Dashboard is coming about causing visual impairment to road.
2009 Jaguar Xf supercharged dashboard glare & visibility obstruction the leather dashboard on my 2009 Jaguar Xf supercharged has begun to separate, ripple, & bubble. Resulting in a serious safety issue as the rippling (looks similar to waves) causes the sun to reflect / glare directly to the windshield & into the operators eyes. The result, under certain circumstance (high noon, very sunny days, dusk/dawn), is complete vision impairment. The problem stems from a defective glue / bonding agent applied during the manufacturing process. Once separation begins it progresses and spreads like cancer. The unacceptable repair estimate provided by Jaguar, $3,500. 00 to $4,500. 00, to replace the entire dash. Unnecessary as the defect is the bonding agent, not the hardware. Jaguar & official oem forums suggest a. . . "cost effective alternative. " the remedy via third parties: remove the dashboard, separate the leather, clean, apply a new bonding agent, cure, and reinstall. Because the dashboard is no longer flat, on sunny days & especially at dusk and dawn, the large bubbles & waves cause light to reflect directly to the windshield & the operators eyes. The resulting reflection / glare renders the vehicle completely unsafe to operate during the previously mentioned conditions. Safety is important and Jaguar should address this issue via recall and not leave the costly remedy for this known defect to the consumer & potentially unqualified third party repair facilities. This known problem effects a majority of 2008-2011 Xf models. Jaguar acknowledge the issue as early 2008. Yet continued to use a manufacturing process known to be defective. The known defect can cause temporary blindness while operating the vehicle. The consequences of driving while blind are obvious. Jaguar, should be required to remedy the defect.

The leather dashboard on my 2010 Jaguar Xf has begun to separate from its base. This causes partial obstruction and visibility of the front windshield. Due to ripples and bulges now apparent in the leather the dash is no longer able to absorb light properly resulting in large amounts of glare making driving dangerous, especially on sunny days. My vehicle is stored in the garage and not driven during winter months. Although it is 2010 it only has 15000 miles on it. The bulges and ripples on the top of the dashboard are a result of defects in the bonding agent used by Jaguar. They acknowledge that this is a problem at the dealer. Jaguar canada has offered to pay for 50% of the cost to replace the dashboard indicating they too know this is a problem. Jaguar should be asked to recall all vehicles with with this issue and replace the dash at no cost to the owner.
The dashboard is bubbled up and separated causing decreased visability due to glare from glue and possible obstruction of airbag deployment due to dashboard warping. After being inspected by dealer, only option given was to replace the dashboard which is not covered by warranty. Also wood grain interior trim splinters on dashboard below navigation screen, in door insert panels and in center consoles causing cuts and splinters. This also was not covered by warranty.
