I bought a 2004 Xjr Jaguar. It was new and had dealer added chrome wheels($3,000 additional cost). The rims were defective and I asked the dealer to identify the supplier of the rims so that I could contact the supplier directly. The dealership says it did not keep a record of where it purchased the wheels. I have a difficult time believing that an automobile company or dealership is not required to keeps records regarding parts on a vehicle, especially parts as critical as the wheels. Please advise.
