2006 Jaguar vdp l wb would not exceed over 10 mph and warning lights illuminated on the dash. Experienced two massive fuel leaks. The dealer claimed they replaced a seal to fix the fuel leak, however 2 weeks later the fuel leak resurfaced. The dealer then stated the left fuel pump flange was still leaking and the fuel tank was warped. The problem with the vehicle not accelerating over 10 mph was due to a loose mass air flow sensor connector. The tire monitor was faulty.
The contact owns a 2006 Jaguar Xj type. The vehicle has two continental conti touring tires, line size 235/50/18 on the front of the vehicle. While driving at approximate speeds of 70 mph, the vehicle began to abnormally pull to the right. The dealer advised that the tread on the passengers side had separated and was causing the failure. The tire was replaced by the contacts spare tire, which was the same tire as the one that had failed. The failure mileage was approximately 34,900 and the current mileage was approximately 35,200.
