Engine And Engine Cooling problem #1

While at a stop light, engine revved up and the car started rolling forward. I had to brake hard to stop it. This happened about 3 more times over the next 2 months. One time the engine raced very high and I had to put it in neutral to avoid crashing. At 5000 miles I took it to the dealer who said they could find no diagnoses from the auto computer and could not replicate the problem. They claimed to have no knowledge how to fix, but now I see a number of reports on the internet about Jaguar rapid and unexplained acceleration problems. I feel Jaguar is not being honest about this problem -- and it is dangerous condition.

Engine Failure problem #2

Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Jaguar Xj. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph when they noticed that the gauge was in its normal position when a warning light illuminated stating the coolant in the vehicle was significantly low. The contact attempting to pull over to the side of the road when the vehicle then stalled and shut off. The contact had the vehicle towed. The vehicle was taken to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the engine failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000. Gl.
