Wheel problem #1

Serious safety issue with the epb electronic parking brake not disengaging (especially in the Xj models), therefore, deeming it impossible to drive the car, and being stranded with no way to drive home or anywhere in an emergency. This issue appears to be electrical in nature, involving the parking brake module. This issue is a published issue in countless Jaguar forums and the NHTSA. Wheel problem #2

I lease a 2016 Jaguar Xjl with 20 inch Jaguar rims and tires. These rims/tires are inherently dangerous in that the tires have failed while driving upon striking any small bump or road defect causing the tire sidewall to bulge and/or fail and sometimes the rim to bend. I have had the vehicle a little over 1 year and have had to repair one rim and replace 3 tires already. . . . On 4/26/17, 3/9/18, and 5/9/18. . At this rate, I will end up replace over 9 tires in a 3 yr lease. Jaguar refuses to address this issue. These tires are dangerous and should not be sold with a $100,000. 00 car. . . . Or any car!.

Wheel problem #3

The contact owns a 2014 Jaguar Xj. While driving 70 mph, the rear passenger side tire low air warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact stopped at the fuel station and placed air in the tire. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. The vehicle was taken to the tire dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear driver side tire, and the rear and front passenger side rims were fractured. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer stated that the wheels were not under warranty. The failure mileage was 68,000.

Wheel problem #4

I purchased a 2013 Jaguar Xj new on October 22, 2013 that was equipped with 4 pirelli pzero nero tires. On February 22, 2016 I had to replace the two front tires 245/45r/19 due to wear and tear. The rear tires were deemed in good condition. But, a month later, on March 27, 2016 I was driving on a clear freeway when my pirelli pzero nero a/s rear tire had a blowout where the entire tire separated at a seam so that one part remained on the rim and the remaining portion of the tire moved off the rim. I was traveling at 65 mph on open freeway with no debris or objects on road. The exploding tire caused the car to veer 40° to the left, then back suddenly to the right. I was able to control car to immediate stop but can see no puncture on tire. It appears that the tire was defective and tore apart even though trend was still deep.

Wheel problem #5

I bought a 2004 Xjr Jaguar. It was new and had dealer added chrome wheels($3,000 additional cost). The rims were defective and I asked the dealer to identify the supplier of the rims so that I could contact the supplier directly. The dealership says it did not keep a record of where it purchased the wheels. I have a difficult time believing that an automobile company or dealership is not required to keeps records regarding parts on a vehicle, especially parts as critical as the wheels. Please advise.
