Jaguar XJ owners have reported 5 problems related to suspension (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Made a 500 mile road when the air suspension fault message came on ( yellow light), but that had happened periodically and seemed to be a computer fault. The car ran fine. Then after a 2 day period of no use, when the car was started a red warning light came indicating vehicle too low and on outside inspection the car was too close to the tires. In 2010, both suspension struts were replaced.

Problem involves intercooler pipe that was made for the car during production and Jaguar now makes a new intercooler pipe diffrent from original that does not come in the car originally that causes car to over heat and cause engine damage as well as ruining your water pump which in time if not treated can cause a fire and engine damage also rear suspension has faulty bushings and air suspension is leaks causing suspension to break down easily and wheel alignment not to last may cause suspension to collapse making it hazardous on the road.
