One problem related to engine and engine cooling has been reported for the 1996 Jaguar XJ6. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Failure of the temperature sensor causes the engine to stop dead without warning. This happened twice before the problem was fixed. I was lucky not to be in a vulnerable situation!.
