Two problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 1997 Jaguar XJ6. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
"uncontrolled rapid acceleration" on private property.
While parking vehicle it suddenly accelerated at a high speed due to the throttle sticking. The air bags deployed and broke consumer's finger.
