One problem related to gasoline engine has been reported for the 2001 Jaguar XJ8. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 40-45 mph vehicle started to smoke. A few minutes later vehicle caught on fire in the front end. Prior to the fire there was slight power loss, odor and white smoke coming from under the hood.
