Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Jaguar Xk. The contact stated that the check engine lights remained illuminated while driving approximately 35 mph. The dealer confirmed that the failure was due to the oxygen sensors being defective. The sensors were replaced twice. The failure began after adding o'reillys octane booster to the fuel tank. While using a funnel the contact observed that there was a sediment in the container after it was added to the fuel tank. He was advised by the mechanic that the sediment was paint thinner. The contact stated that the check engine light illuminated after the vehicle was repaired. The VIN was invalid. The approximate failure mileage was 172,000. Rk.
