One problem related to automatic transmission column shift has been reported for the 1998 Jaguar XK8. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle stalled intermittently without warning. The gear shift failed to come out of park. Also the antenna and power mirror switch was replaced and the coolant light illuminated.
