Two problems related to air bag have been reported for the 1996 Jeep Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air bag deployed upon a minor impact(about 2mph), also airbag deployment was violent, force of impact resulted in breathing difficulties, multiple fractures.
False deployment of airbag.
