Two problems related to hatchback/liftgate support device have been reported for the 1996 Jeep Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The hydraulic cylinders to the rear door broke and the door collapsed on the naney's back, causing injury to her back. Dealer has not seen.
Rear hatchback hydraulic cylinder failed injuring consumer. (attorney for consumer).
