Tire Tread/belt problems of the 1996 Jeep Cherokee

1 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 08/08/2000

While driving about 70 mph suddenly heard a loud sound coming from right rear tire, tread separated. But consumer kept control of vehicle. Tread separated from tire suddenly caused loss of control of vehicle. The tire was previously repaired, but possibly the tire may have not been holding pressure adequaltely. Tire size p225/75r15 and dot # hyhhats456.

2 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 05/01/1999

Tire tread separated from the tire while driving (dunlop centenial canyon climber size 2257r101025).

3 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 12/26/1996

Goodyear tire treads size p225/70r16 premature wear, causing front axle to shimmy.
