Two problems related to other fuel system tank mounting have been reported for the 1997 Jeep Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle would run out of gasoline while gas gauge indicated a significant amount of fuel in tank. Dealership has not examined vehicle. Informed consumer that this vehicle was included in recall campaign 97v194002 due to VIN. Please provide any additional informatioin / documentation.
That the gas gauge indicator inaccurately reads the amount of fuel in tank, causing the vehicle to cut off.
