This is a right hand drive Jeep Cherokee. The spare tire is mounted on the left hand side causing a visibility problem that is a severe safety hazard when pulling onto the road. The spare tire was mounted on the right hand side in the 1995-1998 right hand drive Cherokee models, but then for some reason was mounted on the left in the 1999 and 2000 models. Dealer refused to remount the tire on the right hand side, saying there was no way to do this.
Consumer purchased right hand driver vehicle for delivering. Spare tire is on the left hand side & completely blocks vision. Consumer has contacted Chrysler to suggest that be looked at & changed.
