Two problems related to carrier/rack have been reported for the 2005 Jeep Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

The door handle was made with cheap plastic and came completely off on one door. I have 3 kids, this is a huge safety concern if there is an accident they will not be able to get out. All 4 door handles have a crack in the handle ready to break off at any moment that is visible to anyone who looks at the door.
